In a tone of derision, “a young group on holidays, lost in a hostile land, has no choice but to build a poor base camp…” Anxiousness increases : nerves, fear, hope, shivers… how do we escape the didactic nature of the centre, and find a way to escape ?
The idea was to more deeply develop Wartane’s research work : which boundaries must we cross in order to modify the relation between break and space and still respect its profound nature ? How can we integrate in group pieces the different virtuous vocabulary elements of both breakdancing and a greater liberty of movement in space ?
The music was composed by Pablo Cueco and performed by the Transes Européennes Orchestra. After a collaboration between C. Coudun and P. Cueco in 1999, this work is now based on an existing record “sol, suelo, sombra y cielo”
